Overview
The decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) has been used to solve numerous MCDM problems, where real numbers are used in defining linguistic variables. This work addresses the limitation that researchers have not fully understood how DEMATEL operates with nonreal-number linguistic variables. It introduces single-valued neutrosophic sets (SVNSs) as a method for decision-making problems, using three memberships to represent experts’ linguistic judgments.
