Abstract
Aiming to help petrochemical companies monitor and manage risks in real time, this study presents a comprehensive risk assessment method for hydrogenation units based on the decision making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL), the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) and cloud model (CM). Through the interaction analysis by DEMATEL, the weights of risk factors are assigned more reasonable, and introduced into TOPSIS and CM for the prioritization of risk factors and the risk assessment of hydrogenation units. A case study is conducted on a petrochemical enterprise in Liaoning Province, China. The results show that this method can accurately identify risk factors and evaluate risk level of hydrogenation units to guide the enterprise in risk management.
